City of Fort Smith Supports the Celebration
July 10, 2002

The Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial Commemoration Committee sends out a special thank you to the City of Fort Smith for their generous contribution of $10,000. The funds are currently being used for the printing of brochures, letterhead, envelopes, and sponsorship packets. Additionally, they will cover expenses for the appearance of "Nationally Renowned Thomas Jefferson Impersonator" Clay Jenkinson. The committee thanks the City of Fort Smith for their extraordinary support of this vital event.
