Fort Smith Announces Bicentennial Events

Jody Weiche, chair of the Fort Smith Bicentennial Committee, announced a series of events commemorating the Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial to be held in Fort Smith, April 26-May 1, 2003. "Fort Smith is excited to highlight our history and serve as a partnering city for the Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial Commemoration", Weiche stated.
