Old Davidsonville State Park Celebrating the Louisiana Purchase through 2003
October 1, 2002

Old Davidsonville State Park will be participating in Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial plans with eighteen special events and six frontier living workshops. Workshops include lessons on candle making, pottery building, Dutch oven cooking and firebuilding. Planned events are a Labor Day Extravaganza, Black River Rendezvous, and a Ghosts of Davidsonville fall program. For more information, please contact Kristyn Rainey or Marlon Mowdy at 870-892-4708.
