Harrison Plans Events for May

Louisiana Purchase events to be held in Harrison during Arkansas Heritage Month of May include Harrison Colony Chapter NSDAR's 2nd Day Cancellation of the Louisiana Purchase Commemorative Stamp on May 5th at the John Paul Hammerschmidt Conference Center North Arkansas College. Program will be at 1:00 p.m. with cancellations from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m.

Adding flavor to the annual Crawdad Days Music Festival May 16-17th will be the first annual Crawdad Days Cajon Cookoff. The theme of the festival is "The Ozarks Two Hundred Years Ago." Participants' entries will be judged Saturday May 17th at 11:00 a.m. For more information interested parties may contact Main Street Harrison @ MSHSN@alltel.net.
