Media Specialists learn about Louisiana Purchase
April 29, 2002

Media specialists from across Arkansas heard a presentation from Lea Baker, Education Coordinator for the Department of Arkansas Heritage on available curriculum for the Louisiana Purchase.

Loan boxes, lesson plans, an interactive CD-ROM, a coloring book and a traveling exhibit are all available for classroom use from the Department of Arkansas Heritage.

Media Specialists from across the state gather Louisiana Purchase classroom materials at the workshop held as a part of the Arkansas Association of Instructional Media Conference in Hot Springs on April 21st.
