Louisiana Purchase Historic State Park Program -
April 19, 2003 and November 1, 2003

Since the Louisiana Purchase Historic State Park is an unmanned natural area park site, interpreters from other parks, along with personnel from other federal and state agencies across the state have volunteered to present programs at the Louisiana Purchase Historic State Park during 2003. Amber Boeckman will be presenting a program on animal species that were populous in the area in the time of the Louisiana Purchase, but that are now either extinct or on the brink of extinction.
